Reading the Results Page
At the top, Interact restates what you asked and how, so the original question stays visible alongside the answer, along with who ran it and basic stats like how long it took.
Interact organizes its response with clear headings and sub-points rather than one long block of text. For something like a risk review across multiple agreements, it explains what each clause says, why it's a concern, and often gives a practical recommendation for fixing or renegotiating it, so you can quickly find the parts most relevant to you.
Citations and Source References
On the right, two tabs serve different purposes:
- Citations: Shows the exact wording pulled from your documents that backs up each specific point in the answer, so you can check a claim against the precise sentence it came from, rather than taking the summary at face value.
- Sources: Simply lists which of your uploaded documents were actually used to produce the answer.
Navigating to Relevant Sections (Highlighted Text)
Hovering over a small bracketed number inside the answer (like [2]) pops up a quick preview showing which document it came from and the exact line it's based on, so you can verify a point without losing your place. For a few file types, this preview shows text only and can't jump you into the document itself, so opening the original file to locate that spot needs to be done manually for those formats.
Working With Your Answer
Once you have an answer, a toolbar above it lets you use it however suits you:
- Copy: Choose how the text is copied, as Plain Text (no formatting), Formatted Text (keeps headings and structure), or Copy for WhatsApp (formatted the way WhatsApp displays messages, handy for sharing with a client over chat).
- Download: Save the answer as a file, in Markdown, Plain text, Web page, Microsoft Word, or PDF, whichever suits what you'll do with it next.
- Print: Get a hard copy directly.
- Listen: Have the answer read aloud, with a choice of voice (like US English or Indian English), useful if you'd rather absorb it by ear or are doing something else at the time.
Follow-Up Questions
A follow-up box stays at the bottom of the results page so you can keep going on the same set of documents without starting over:
- Type your next question, or use the mic to speak it instead, it gets transcribed for you to review before sending (worth a quick check, since dictation can occasionally mishear terms).
- The paperclip lets you attach additional documents partway through, in case something new needs to be brought in.
- Improve helps sharpen your follow-up if you're unsure how to phrase it.
- Ctrl + Enter sends your message without reaching for the mouse.
- The arrow button sends it.
