The Account menu in Lexlegis.ai provides access to user, organisation, security, team, billing, and activity related settings.
This area is designed for workspace configuration, administration, and oversight. It is not used for running legal workflows such as Ask, Interact, or Draft.
1. Accessing the Account Menu
The Account menu is available from the bottom-left corner of the application.
From here, you can access:
- Account
- Manage Teams
- Billing
- History
- Help Center
- Log Out
Selecting Account opens the Settings area.
2. Account Settings Overview
The Settings area contains the following sections:
- Organisation
- Profile
- MFA
- Change Password
- My Team
Each section controls a specific aspect of your account or workspace.
2.1 Organisation
The Organisation section allows you to manage organisation-level details.
You can update:
- Organisation name
- Subdomain
- Industry
- Company size
- Website
You can also configure:
- Default timezone
- Default currency
This information is used for workspace identification and administrative configuration.
2.2 Profile
The Profile section controls your personal user details.
From here, you can:
- Upload or update your profile photo
- Select an honorific
- Update your name
- Review your email address
- Define how your name appears across the platform
- Add or update your phone number
2.3 Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
The MFA section allows you to enable two-factor authentication.
You can:
- Set up an authenticator app
- Scan a QR code
- Enter verification codes during setup
MFA adds an additional layer of account security.
2.4 Change Password
The Change Password section allows you to update your account password.
You must:
- Enter your current password
- Set and confirm a new password
Changes take effect immediately after saving.
2.5 My Team
The My Team section shows the teams you are part of.
From this view, you can:
- See team names
- View your role
- See the number of members
- Identify the team head and creator
This section is read-only unless additional permissions are granted.
3. Manage Teams
The Manage Teams section provides administrative controls for organising users and access.
It includes the following areas:
3.1 Teams
Used to create and manage teams within the organisation.
Administrators can:
- Create and manage teams
- Assign team ownership
- Organise users by function or matter
3.2 Users
Displays all users associated with the organisation.
From here, administrators can:
- View active users
- Manage user membership
- Understand team distribution
3.3 Team Permissions
Controls permissions applied at the team level.
Team permissions define:
- What actions a team can perform
- Which workflows and resources a team can access
Permissions apply uniformly to all members of a team.
3.4 User Permissions
Controls permissions applied at the individual user level.
User permissions allow:
- Fine-grained access control
- Overrides to team-level permissions when required
This is useful when specific users need different access than their team defaults.
4. Billing
The Billing section provides access to subscription and payment information.
It includes the following areas:
4.1 Billing Overview
Provides a summary of the current subscription, including plan and status.
4.2 Payment Methods
Used to manage payment instruments associated with the account.
Administrators can:
- Add or update payment methods
- Review existing payment details
4.3 Invoices
Provides access to billing invoices.
From here, administrators can:
- View and download invoices
- Track payment history
Billing access is typically restricted to organisation administrators.
5. History
The History section provides visibility into past activity across workflows.
It includes the following views:
5.1 Ask History
Displays previous Ask interactions, including questions and responses.
5.2 Interact History
Displays past Interact sessions, including document analysis runs and applied question sets.
5.3 Draft History
Displays previously generated drafts, allowing users to revisit or continue earlier work.
History views support traceability, continuity, and internal review.
6. Help Center and Log Out
From the Account menu, you can:
- Open the Help Center for documentation and guidance
- Securely log out of your account
