The Library supports all workflows in Lexlegis, including Ask, Interact, and Draft.
It acts as the source of documents, instructions, and standards used during legal research, document analysis, and drafting.
The Library does not automatically influence results. Only the items you select during a workflow are used.
1. Library in Ask
In Ask, the Library is used as a source selection layer.
You can use:
- Files or folders selected as sources
- Supporting material for citations
- Approved websites for controlled web research
Only the selected Library items influence the response.
2. Library in Interact
In Interact, the Library acts as the input layer for analysis.
It is used to:
- Select files or folders for analysis
- Apply Question Sets across documents
- Use prompts to define how documents are processed
Outputs are generated strictly from the selected Library content.
Organisation within the Library directly impacts result quality.
3. Library in Draft
In Draft, the Library provides the building blocks for document creation.
Draft uses:
- Templates for document structure
- Files for data extraction
- Clauses for standard legal language
- AI Rulebooks for drafting standards
Only the items selected during setup are applied to the draft.
4. Key Principle
The Library remains passive until used.
- Files are not analysed unless selected
- Uploading content does not affect existing outputs
You have full control over what Lexlegis uses in each workflow.
5. Best Practices
- Select only relevant Library items for each workflow
- Avoid mixing unrelated documents or sources
- Organise your Library for easier selection
- Use specific inputs to improve accuracy
A well-managed Library leads to better results across Ask, Interact, and Draft.
